Lisa studied photography, sculpting and drawing at The Art Institute of Boston before becoming a master printer for internationally acclaimed photographer John Huet.
During 1997-2001 Lisa spent most of her time in the darkroom printing ad campaigns for Nike, BMW, Wrangler, Timberland, The Gap. Editorial spreads for Rolling Stone, Vanity Fair, Esquire, Outdoor Magazine. And submissions for Communication Arts, PDN, and Graphics.
From 2001-2006 Lisa assisted still and film crews in Boston and NYC, exhibited a personal body of work called “Ordinary Things”, photographed The Pixies + The Dresden Dolls and traveled with camera through Asia, Europe and all over the states.
In 2006 Lisa relocated to sunny Los Angeles where she established herself as a West Coast photographer. Lisa’s portfolio has been described as visually poetic, filled with imagination, “fucking fantastic” and simply beautiful. One review reads….”Lisa’s black and white images are perfectly crafted pieces of beautifully composed ethereal dreams.”
